In-plant
Training at
SRM, practical training is given as much importance as
theory. In order to relate effectively with their
academic learning, tie-ups have been arranged with
industrial giants for our students to undergo special
summer and winter training. The final year engineering
students are encouraged to take up their project work in
industries to have practical exposure to industrial
applications.
Career Counselling and Higher Education
Despite the fact that qualified and trained engineers
are in demand in the industry, it has been observed that
graduate engineers are very often uncertain on how to
build their careers. Career counsellors have been
nominated to offer the students vocational guidance.
Many wish to pursue their studies abroad as well but are
unaware as to how to go about it. Our counsellors are
well-versed in the various formalities and procedures as
well as in matters regarding qualifying examinations
such as GATE, GRE, GMAT, IES, TOEFL and so on. Many a
student owes his or her advancement in higher education
to the assistance, information, advice and guidance
received from the counsellors at SRM.
