The department of Architecture was established during 1992 - 1993, to offer B-Arch degree programmes which was approved by the AICTE and recognized by the council of Architecture. It is proposed to start M.Arch. in Computer Aided Architecture Design during June 2004.

The department has staff members specialized in various fields such as Landscaping, Town Planning, Housing, project Management and urban design working. Apart from this, the department engages external experts from various fields as visiting faculty to facilitate in specific fields.

The department has an exclusive departmental library with more than 2000 books related to Architecture and allied disciplines and twenty Indian and International journals.

The department has a full fledged CAD Lab to develop designs and has Material Museum to stock the samples of various materials, fixtures and fittings used in construction for the understanding of the students. In addition, a construction yard is there for the students to get a hands on experience.
