All the institutions of the SRM Group are under the control and supervision of the Chairman Thiru T R Pachamuthu. He is assisted by Directors and Advisors in matters of policy, development and planning as well as in day-to-day functioning. These Directors and Advisors have been carefully selected on the basis of the outstanding contributions they have made in their respective fields of specialisation, education and research. In addition, there are several committees for various functions such as Academic, Relations with Industry & Foundations, Post-graduate Education, Research & Development, International Programmes, Student Counselling, Placement and so on.

The institutions are managed by Principals and Deans who in turn work in close co-operation with the heads of various departments. Senior and junior members of teaching staff work in a true spirit of camaraderie. Every effort is made to encourage the students as well as the staff to participate and involve themselves in the decision-making process.
